Unplugging to Dream

It’s time for a little more dreaming, so I can be ready for more doing.

So, I am unplugging (mostly!) By the time you read this, I’ll be unplugged.

You can read why — here and here. (Hat tip to Tiffany Shlain for inspiration.)

I’ll be back after a long weekend.

When have you unplugged? What benefits did you notice in your life as a result?

If you have never unplugged completely from technology, perhaps you’d like to join me?

Whitney, I am so in agreement with you. I find that meditation is one way to turn off my chattering mind. But unplugging from technology frees the brain up for creative dreams.

I wrote about the same subject of being unplugged in my blog recently.

I take at least several hours each day when I don’t look at my iphone at all and on weekends most sundays. It is so refreshing and frees me up to be present more in what I am doing. I find my body feels more relaxed when I take time out and unplug.

Went through an unplugged weekend (well most of it) and took the day off to accompany my 9-year old on her school trip to the beach…mother/daughter time – priceless…it’s amazing how we need the break for a breakthrough…love your thoughts…waiting for my copy of ‘Dare, Dream, Do’…and would like to get your autograph on your book – one day =)
