Elizabeth Gilbert: TED Talk on Nurturing Creativity

Share this post:

Thanks to Jen Thomas for sharing Elizabeth Gilbert's 2009 TED talk on genius.   At the time of this speech, Eat, Pray, Love, had become “freakishly successful” as Ms. Gilbert describes it, and she wondered — what happens now?

Whether you have achieved some success, or are struggling to kickstart a dream, I think you'll find there's something for you in this 20-minute video — there certainly was for me.

Enjoy!

I was especially taken by Ms. Gilbert's remark (click here for transcript) that we need to keep showing up to our dream, because that's our job.

What inspired you?
